This year marks the 100th anniversary of the classic buttercup—yellow with green pistils—first being used as the symbol of the May Flower. This year’s flower is a tribute to this very anniversary, designed by 12-year-old Nellie Pilhton from Gothenburg, and represents something we all need—hope.
On April 9, sales of this year’s May Flower will begin across the country. On April 12, we’re organizing a special charity event in Valbo to celebrate this occasion, and you’re warmly invited to join us!
Throughout the day, representatives from Majblomman will be on site at the shopping center, along withMajblomman children selling this year’s flower. It’s an opportunity to contribute, learn more about the organization’s work, and meet the people who are truly making a difference.
We will be giving away signedBrynäsandGIFjerseys to two lucky winners.
Representatives from Erikshjälpen will also be on site, selling stuffed animals for a good cause throughout the day! All proceeds go directly to the Majblomman organization. By buying a stuffed animal from Erikshjälpen, you’re making a real difference and helping to create better conditions for children throughout Sweden.
For our younger visitors, our mascot Vilja invites you to a day filled with crafts, balloons, and lots of treats.
And to make an even bigger difference, we’re donating5 kr per visitor on this day to Majblomman.
Welcome to Valbo Shopping Center on April 12 – Together, we make a difference.
