We are a marketplace that people across several generations have visited over the years since we opened in May 1970.
In recent years, we’ve undergone a much-needed renovation, and even though we’ve got a new look, the feel is the same. We’re still a cozy shopping center—with something for every taste and preference.
Who are we?
Valbo Shopping Center is part of Eurocommercial Properties, which was founded in the Netherlands in 1991 and has many years of international experience in shopping centers. Eurocommercial currently owns shopping centers in Italy, France, Belgium, and Sweden. The Swedish division was established in 2001 and continues to grow and develop year after year.
Today, Eurocommercial owns a total of eight shopping centers in Sweden: Avion Shopping in Umeå, Valbo Köpcentrum in Gävle, C4 Shopping in Kristianstad, Grand Samarkand in Växjö, Hallarna in Halmstad, Ingelsta Shopping in Norrköping, Elins Esplanad in Skövde, and Bergvik in Karlstad—all located in attractive, major regional cities with strong potential for growth.
These centers maintain very high standards and are the leading retail destinations in their respective catchment areas.
By focusing on the development of its properties and long-term relationships with business partners, Eurocommercial has created a commercial portfolio that brings together Scandinavia’s leading retail players. The portfolio includes international, national, and local players in the retail, restaurant, and café sectors, as well as in health, healthcare, services, and entertainment.
How to Find Us
Valbo Shopping Center is located between Sandviken and Gävle, right next to the E16. If you're coming via the E4, take the exit heading west toward Sandviken/Falun. If you're using GPS, enter Valbovägen 307-309.
